It was an excellent place to stay for a wedding celebration. The location was marvellous, about 10 minutes drive to Lake Wanaka. It was adjacent to the lake or town and snowcapped mountains.

Our stay at Kauri House was absolutely perfect. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake were absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, with fresh produce and even freshly caught salmon. The little touches, like a bottle of wine and chocolates, made our stay even more special. Despite being just a short drive from the town center, the location was peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend Kauri House for a luxurious and unforgettable stay.

Everything about this stay was comfortable, THANK YOU. Everything was great, except the weather, it was cold outside. The location of the apartment was excellent for my needs close to a hill top as well as Lake Wanaka.

We stayed 1 night here, but it was a wonderful experience. Their breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs from the garden. Enjoyed having electric blankets, hypoallergenic pillows, and feather pillows, no need to ask for them beforehand. Bill was the best host ever...

The views from the apartment were absolutely stunning, overlooking the town and the lake. the apartment itself was beautifully designed and furnished, with a large terrace to enjoy the scenery. the breakfast provided was delicious and sourced from local produce. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The location of the apartment was not within walking distance of the town, requiring a short drive to get there.

The views from the apartment were absolutely stunning, with a panoramic 270-degree vista that was truly breathtaking. the location of the apartment was also perfect, set high above the town and just a short drive away. the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions for great places to eat dinner and making us feel at home. the breakfast they served us was delicious, with a homemade touch that made it extra special.
One aspect to note is that there is a flight of stairs leading to the apartment, so guests with mobility issues should be aware of this. However, this was due to unexpected weather conditions and not a fault of the accommodation itself.

The apartment at Kauri House was fantastic! It had a cozy lounge area where we could relax after a long day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen was a plus, allowing us to cook our own meals. We also enjoyed the balcony, it was the perfect spot to soak in the stunning views of Wanaka.
The only thing I liked less was that the apartment didn't have air conditioning. But hey, it's just my opinion, some might still find it enjoyable.
